What an interesting idea. I hadn't considered the presence or absence of wounds in the palm. It would seem I never had a firm grasp on the thing...

As for the tree, checkmate, perhaps I should consider a lovely yellow bow in honor of the conflict in Iraq.

That birch drawing did seem photorealistic, quite remarkable. I, too, thought the artist was cheating...

That's very fine work and some genuine talent. Would you consider taking your skill in fine art any further?

Hope you don't mind, Glass*Soul, but I now have new wallpaper on my computer.

What an astonishing talent you have!

I'm often asked if I traced them, which is an interesting question for a number of reasons, one of which being that they are done on two-ply board.

I don't know that I want to try to take it any further. Probably not.

This past year, I've tried a number of projects that force me to work more quickly and with less detail. I have one I'm looking at right now that involved applying watercolor to the paper with a scrub pad, ironing it dry, and then switching to colored pencils while the paper was still warm enough to sort of melt the color on. Less detail. More emotion.

Let me just add to the praise for your talent. That tree looks like a B&W photo. Its insanely good.

Hi Glass*Soul,

I am also very impressed with your drawings; thank you for letting us see them.

The tree is superb, but I also appreciate the emotion in the crown of thorns. Apart from the hand letting it go, I thought the ribbon and the ring on the hand indicated beauty and dignity - in stark contrast to the ugliness of the crown of pain, rejection and scorn. I'm glad you've let it go!

Beautiful work Glass*Soul!

You should, at the very least, set up a website to display your work. It deserves to be seen!

Breathtaking skill!

I wish I could draw. I'd be lucky to draw a stick-figure person correctly.

But my artistic talents lie elsewhere, I suppose.
