If there was a god, there would be no cockroaches. Man, these things are so hidious. Ahh. Kill them all. What's their purpose?

Honestly, cockroaches are very cute if you look at them from the correct angle.

When asked what one could infer about the mind of god from her works of creation, the British naturalist JBS Haldane replied, "An inordinate fondness for beetles."

Well God intended people to live naked in a garden, and cockroaches wouldn't have been any worse than all the other bugs I think... as far as bad things like thorns, etc, go, they're part of the "curse".
![]() I guess the original purpose of bugs like cockroaches was to glorify God by demonstrating how talented he is. |

They are I think excellent examples of successful adaptation. They'll be here long after we're gone. That said, I still hate 'em. I was a plummer's apprentice, and I still have nightmares. The things going on in the walls and under the floors of our houses is frightening. |
