I am definitely more attracted to men who are tall (over 6 feet) since I am 5'9 myself...

I'm with christ-on-a-stick, though, proportion is what's really important. I'm not put off by height per se, but if you're 6'5" and skinny as Kate Moss, that's not a Good Thing (for me anyway).
It can make kissing difficult even when you're not! I'm 6', she's 4'10". In bed I can kiss her forehead or the top of her head.

Understandable--I don't have to turn my head (I go right over her) but she does. I like putting her on the second step for a squeeze, though. Picking her up doesn't leave ones hands free for properly surrounding her.

Default Short guys yes!

I have dated various tall guys from 6 foot to 6 foot 7.

I am five foot three, was almost the smallest girl in the class in school. I'm still five foot 3 but gained about 40 pounds.

I was horrified when one of my tall boyfriends admitted to enjoying intimidating people with his size. I don't like being intimidated by men or women taller than me, and I feel like I have been intimidated my whole life. I have left numerous leisure time groups (like computer clubs) because there are lots of big grumpy old bastards who will stand over me and do their dominant-male thing. Seems to happen in any spare time group situation.

Current BF is 5 foot 8 and it suits me just fine. He doesn't like to be intimidated by tall guys either. We have the same inseam length on our clothes and I can wear the slacks he outgrows. I have a big waist and no hips and a very slim rear end, like a boy. Took me years to figure out that I should buy men's pants to fit my shape.

The father of my daughter is six foot 7, and his mother is the biggest white woman I have ever seen (6 foot tall, morbidly obese, probably has an ass about 3 feet wide, I kid you not).

Genetics is interesting. My daughter is five foot three, same size I am, but she is very long waisted and lean, and is built like her daddy, which makes her a very good clothes horse. She looks much taller than she is. She wears size 4 jeans and baby tees, and bare tummy looks good on her because she's young and well built.

So I like short guys if i can find them, but they don't seem to be real common these days. At least in the nerd population.

Voltaire,

Hmm... this is valuable insight. Maybe older women aren't attracted to me because I'm tall, but rather because I have my fair share of body hair.
Oh, don't do that! Alot of women find the natural look very sexy! I certainly don't mind it when a man shaves his chest, or other body hair (except his legs), but unless he maintains that smooth feel all the time ... well, the in between times can be a bit uncomfortable.

I think you look great just as you are. Hopefully an intelligent, mature, hot lady will come along to appreciate you and treat you well!

Hah! I was just kidding. The truth is that I am a bit to lazy to start shaving my chest. Besides, then I might get cold.

Thanks for your concern though.
