Post Do US anti-war rallies help their cause?

I was just wondering that since the war has begun do you feel that the anti-war rallies help?

I see networks like CNN and Fox depict the rallies as a bunch of no good troublemakers, anti-Americans, extreme left-wing communists, anti-troops, or Saddam supporters. I hear very few good comments about the rallies?

I understand the purpose is to get peoples attention including the government, but everyone knows that our government isn't listening including my dog. The people that do see the rallies are probably just irritated by the delay of traffic and the chaos that the rallies cause. The TV networks barely show the rallies and when they do most of the time they say negative things.

Maybe, people feel it's a moral obligation?
