Cupcake hasn't been a homosexual or a pedophile since he saw the Light .

Which reminds me to ask... Cupcake, back when you thought there was nothing wrong with homosexuality, back before you learned to Think Your Own Thoughts(tm), did you distance yourself from pedophilia actively? Did you think pedophilia was OK? Did you think at that time that pedophilia, homosexuality and over-eating were interconnected?

Pandering to homophobic bigots would be pointless; denouncing anything other than homosexuals will not satisfy them.

What looks really, really stupid is the attempt to equate equal rights for gays with NAMBLA; that's akin to equating equal rights for muslims with Al Queda.

NAMBLA didn't exist in those days. And I was never a homosexual rights advocate.

What's the difference, if you were willing to say homosexuality was not immoral? And NAMBLA wasn't the topic of the thread, it was pedophilia in general. It was Fr. Andrew we were supposed to rush to distance ourselves from.
