bg, it may be that no one else from Tampa is a regular at II, but there are sure to be some groups which you might look for. Check out Unitarian Universalist churches, or perhaps there's a Freethought Society of some sort. Any nearby colleges may have groups which you might want to attend.

It's good to have contact with all the infidels here at II, but it's better when you can talk to like-minded people face to face.

There is an occasional poster, dimossi who I believe is in the Tampa area. He is very active in the local freethought community. Might want to send him a PM, bg.

Perhaps if you moved about 4 hours north, you could live in a hotbed of infidelism known as Tallahassee.

Tampa Bay! I was just there - the Atheist Alliance International held its convention there, sponsored by Atheists of Florida. There were some very cool infidels there.

www.atheistalliance.org should let you find them

Blondegoddess,

Hi! I live in south Tampa (on Dale Mabry) and I am somewhat new to this particular board. I've been reading it for some time, but only recently began posting. I don't always have time to post as much as I would like, but I am here.

What part of the bay area do you live in? Maybe I'll see you at a Bucs game sometime.

Hello! I live near Plant City. Ick. I probably cannot be found at a Bucs game as I am an avowed non-spectator sport person, but I attend concerts once a month. I prefer the ones sponsored by 97.1. They are cheap enough to be able to load up on booze... Gots any friends?
