That was my second thought.

My first was the Food Chain.

And you are still missing the point. You can't lump all human beings together because some are jerks.

Well, my perspective, and most other atheists on this board. Yes, it's from my perspective. Would you like me try the physical impossibilty of using yours? Or Joe from Jersey City? What other perspective am I going to use?

Yeah. They're called 'books' and it's called 'reading'. Oh wait, you guys can't trust anything besides that magic book. Everything else is suspect.

Well, since I agree that the above mentioned theological psudeo-history/dogma is all bullshit, I just say 'No.' Take that how you want.

Since Hell (TM) doesn't exist, yeah! Letting people live is always cool. Oh, wait... judge...jury...executioner..*mumble*

Apparently? Imagine that. I don't believe Christianity is true.

Of course you would. Wasn't you that was getting smitten mightily, was it? Or drowned. Or stoned, or turned into a pillar of salt.

Right, cause the Davidian bloodline was important, even though Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit. Or would the Holy Sperm only work on the David Egg? A match made in heaven! Pun intended! And all humanity perishing- wouldn't that be god's fault? Couldn't he just not kill everyone, and roast them in a fire pit? Really, a simple answer here would be great. No riddles, no bible babble. If god is the master of the universe and creator of life, who is 'making' him kill us? And why would his own son's blood be the only thing that could 'appease' him'? And that doesn't even work, cause we're all born as filthy, depraved sinners, right?

it wouldn't matter if he wasn't: none of the contradictory lineages assigned to Mary and Joseph qualify for messiahship anyway. "davidian" isn't the only requirement.

Touche!

I didn't even think to bring that up, good point. How many generations was it again?
