No; that file is a screensaver.

There's something quite charming about this.

Luna...have you spilled any liquid on your keyboard recently? Believe it or not, that can cause some really weird shit like what you experienced. Not very likely, but it can happen.

Oh and btw...this thread gets the "Most Amusing Thread Of The New Year Award"....

Congrats!

Every so often a strange combination of keys will get pressed - and the keyboard will type as if posessed (like we know this is really possible? )

Generally a restart will fix it. Not being a touch typist h elps me, because I just can't press keys fast enough....I just gotta LOOK - and I still type sort of fast....and make some really wierd typos too

Glad you're back to a semblance of normality!

Pseudonymph, if you can decipher Lunachick's second post you'll see she didn't spill liquid on her keyboard - she dropped a phonebook on it! I suspect that was the root cause of the problem.

Luna, I suggest you approach this like an American. Call the keyboard manufacturer and demand a replacement. Act incredulous when they tell you the warranty doesn't cover dropping heavy things on it. Then keep asking for a supervisor until they give you something free.

Actually, call your ISP first. Make them take at least an hour to explain to you why they have nothing to do with your keyboard.

By the way, from the hotkeyed characters, it sounds like your Windows key got jammed. On the few occasions where I've had a shift/ctrl/win key jam, pressing both of the problem keys simultaneously seems to fix it. Haven't the faintest idea why, though.

Lunachick, it looks like it's something wrong with your keyboard. Similar things have happened to me; the keyboard I'm now using is not my current Mac's original keyboard, because it had done some similar misbehavior.
