Amos! Isn't the idea in your theology that "heaven" is the state of the mind after shrugging off our negative mental attributes?

I do like your infinite virgin scenario, though, but what about the ladies? Surely an eternity of inept first time lovers would not be what women would call "paradise"!

</strong>
You do have a good memory and it is precisely because we have shrugged off the old ego pleasing thoughts that everything is new and original and therefore virgin to our mind.

In paradise each day is a new day and like Noah
we have only one of each (and not a pair of each).

As long as you have some adversity or something to compete against, I don't think eternity would be so bad.

....But wait a second. You wouldn't have that in any heaven I've ever heard described?!

Hell for me thanks.

It will be too late.

I can't imagine anything better than the satisfaction of a life well lived. The only worthwhile reward would be another life to live. I mean, I'm sure it would be very nice to meet God and have all my questions answered, it might be nice to chat up some of my ancestors for a few years, but eventually I'd want to get back to having a life of my own. I'd want to go out and cultivate a garden, grow flowers and fresh tomatoes and eat them warm from the vine, make love on a lazy summer afternoon, learn and discover new things for myself, build a snowman, educate a young mind, maybe have children of my own.

Finding the answers on your own is so much more satisfying than having somebody else give them to you. Anything worth having is better for the striving, and what is there to strive for in Heaven?

Make a note of it: in man's heaven there are no exercises for the intellect, nothing for it to live upon. It would rot there in a year -- rot and stink. Rot and stink -- and at that stage become holy. A blessed thing: for only the holy can stand the joys of that bedlam.

What are you going to do in heaven for eternity?
According to Jack Van Impe's website we'll be doing a lot of singing and ass-kissing for all eternity. Here's a preview:

I think I'll pass!

Me too. It is hard to imagine myself walk around in my underwear sipping beer in such august company.

Wait, isn't that bull with wings the Great Van himself?

And that blinding flash looks like a transformer is blowing up.

Nice pic!

Red face

Here's another wacky pic of "heaven" from a Xian website:

<a href="http://www.jvim.com/revelations/images/image13.jpg" target="_blank">Click here for picture</a>

This is when the "saints" receive the "seal of God" (Rev 7)

Take a look at those faces!

Precisely what I thought:

A lot of lyin', a lot of bull, and in the end it's for the birds.
