Liv? oh Liv? where'd she go? Figures...
I was accused of trolling?

BTW: What is trolling? I thought that was when you fished off a boat?

You'd have to do a lot more than get people's dander up to get banned. As Karyn said, you'd have to lay it on thick with the personal insults and persistently refuse to stop when requested, or threaten violence, or spam the boards with porn, porn, porn.

Tell me... Would it be a necessarily good thing, or a bad thing if a Christian got banned from an atheist site?
Do you mean from a theological standpoint, as if would it be a good thing for the Faith if you got banned? Offhand, I'd say not particularly. As martyrdoms go, I suspect this one wouldn't even begin to hurt enough to qualify.

It's like that, except instead of a net, you use a well placed, intentionally think-headed post that you know everyone will disaree with, and instead of fish, you catch a boatload of posters getting all pissed off for your amusement.

I presume you are referring to your Atheist's Gospel thread. You overstate your challenge to iidb. There is absolutely nothing in that thread that would provoke even the slightest desire to ban you, and anyone who suggested that maybe you should be banned for your opinions would be getting dirty looks from the moderators.

Now you might be undermining your credibility a bit with a rather vacuous argument of the sort that we've heard way too many times before, but you can relax. I think the only thing you need to worry about is that you're going to get too many responses that include that goofy "rolleyes" smilie.

See, Stormy? That's what we call responsive to moderation around here. It doesn't always involve begging, but it's a nice touch.

Thank you for the demonstration, Karyn. Let's hear a round of applause for my lovely assistant Karyn, everybody.

It wasn't started for that reason but the results were the same.

So what should I do... give a half-hearted apology? Or just ride the waves?

There, there.... Stormy was talking about being called a troll in the thread pz linked to, not here.

Is diana the moderator a pretty nice person to the rest of the people here?

She doesn't like me.
