A couple more, which I have had used on me...
On Literal or Interpretative reading of Holy Book: - To interpret the Holy Book correctly, you have to understand the author's intent. ...which you understand how exactly? That's right; by reading and interpreting other passages from the same Book. On Infallibility of Holy Book: - Holy Book (Word of Deity) hasn't changed; man's opinions have and are therefore fallible. Is there a Latin term for "Ultra-Non-Sequitur"? |
