"Besides, what little I heard about it always claimed that the cities were *in* the Dead Sea"

There was a show on TV where an archaeologist searched the bottom of the Dead Sea in a sub for just this reason, he found a few mounds that may have been 'Tels', mounds under which ancient cities are often found, the Arabs who control this area shooed him away before he could go any further, they alloted him only so much time and that was it. Too bad, may have been interesting.

Well of course, the breasts would have been
bigger...

if there are sodomites then logic tells us there must be or must have been a sodom.

BWAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! And...and..*gasp*...I suppose the existence of onanists prove there was an Onan?

The question was whether any traces have been found of the cities. Unless you know of some facts to the contrary and provide them, I will continue to think that no trace has been found (for the reason stated).

Of course.

Of course, that does not preclude the existance of another formation which *did* look like a woman having also been there in ancient times.
Of course. And I think that is the point, that with a little imagination, a salt formation could be taken to represent a female turned to a pillar of salt in those times just as now.

Anyway, the point is that if some trace of either of the two cities had been found, something more likely would have been said by Magnusson and Kenyon in their books on biblical archaeology. Do you disagree?

Rubbish. Sodomy if for puffs. It's baby stuff. Anyone can do it. Take my word for it, when you have been Gomorrahised you will never settle for sodomy again. We gomorrahites just don't like to brag about it that's all.
