HI, All,
Have you ever noticed people who make the sign of the cross over their food, or at church, or whereever. For the Roamin' Cathars and some Protesterants who do this, watch them. They first tap their forehead, then their breast bone, then one shoulder and then the other. Simple Observation: proportionally, the cross they make is upside down. Conclusion: in popular imagery, this is the Sign of Satan ! |

Here, in my country, everybody does it, especially whenever you pass by a church. But that only applies if you are in a vehicle of some sort, and most people do it as long as they are in close vecinity to it.
A hobby of mine is to obseve this peculiar human behaviour. If they are in a car, just one then rest, if in trafic, 3 or 4. peopel have this habit so into their blood they don't even think about it. So innevitably it is no longer head breast bone shouldwer shoulder, it's either a tiny X between a couple of ribbs, or the popular model a straight line with a very little crooked line sitting in anything but a 90 degree angle. They do it in flocks, perhaps the result of their social behaviour. Be wise and don't look them in the eye while they engage in this ritual, if you do not do it. hmmm, i just thought of a prank....what if, when they do it, i'll make a five pointed star? I'll get a t-shirt with a star, so they get the point. |
