Default Report: U.S. Finds Missiles with Chemical Weapons

Report: U.S. Finds Missiles with Chemical Weapons

This time it comes from NPR a reputable news source. They claim to have gotten this info from a division commander. What the story does not mention is when they were discovered. In other alleged discoveries they have needed days to test the material to determine its composition.

I am very sceptical.

The missiles are BM-21s and are ideal for chemical delivery.

Thanks for the link. I heard this on NPR this morning twice. The first time it was in the middle of another story, and the reporter emphasized the non-official nature of the claim. The second time it was a news item itself at the top of 9:00am EST.

What the OP leaves out is that the linked story deals with 2 chemical weapon discoveries: the one reported by Reuters, and embedded in the report, another report by NPR about the BM-21s.....2 distinct and separate discoveries. From the NPR report:
Quote:
NPR said the rockets, BM-21 missiles, were equipped with sarin and mustard gas and were "ready to fire."
Cheers!

I'll withhold belief. It's served me well for two weeks.

Maybe they were getting ready for a plague of locusts.

Check the link. That story doesn't mention the missles.

I'll concede that it's remotely possible that a dozen or so missles may have been found.... given the track record so far tho, it's somewhat more likely to be another 'oops.'

And even if it isn't.... how many people have died in this debacle? Can we honestly say 20 medium range missles (even if they're armed with sarin or VX...) are worth that many lives when the inspectors would most likely have found them WITHOUT anyone getting killed?
