I usually suffer panic attacks trying to talk to women. So I don't. I'm 32 and haven't dated since I was 22. Oh well, getting use to being alone now.

You're probably not the only guy who refers to women as "females" and has trouble "chatting them up".

I haven't had all that many girlfriends, but I have lots of female friends. The last one's been working out pretty well for the last 9-10 years, anyway, so I haven't exactly made much of an effort.

What exactly are you trying to do?

No, not really. Does he want to get laid? Does he want to find a wife? Does he want to find someone to date, with the possible hope that the relationship will "work out"? Just be friends? This changes things a lot...

I didn't want to use the word "women" in case there were guys young enough to be going out non-adult females.

I feel your pain. I've found that the only way to get a girl, if you're not a hot unethical stud muffin, is to take time with her, to get to know her, and as time goes along you'll get comfortable with her and it will all come naturally. I mean, I don't know what's going to happen with me and girls at house parties next semester, I admittedly was holding one around the waist and she let me stick a dollar down her bra this semester (while her boyfriend was standing there), so maybe I just needed to be more social. But like I said, your main hope is to get to know them, unless they show some sign of recieving your playlines.

Hmm yeah. I guess my main problem is that I don't get the chance to meet many people in normal everyday situations. I don't have many female friends and the ones I do have are all taken.

If they're old enough to date, they probably won't be *too* offended at being called women - but a lot of women mind being called "females". Too clinical.

In that case, my advice is to get in the habit of trying to make friends with women. Sooner or later, some of 'em will want to take it further.
