Three thumbs up! What a great article. He's a gawdamned American hero. What an inspiration to finally get to read someone making sense on the issue. Whew! I was pretty demoralized by all the misleading spin I have been encountering. This cleanses the palate.
What is surprising is not so much that Ebert would have intelligence or a broad knowledge base from which he can provide insightful discussion-----but that a movie critic is the lone voice in the wilderness leading on the issue, versus someone that does journalism or specializes in relevant subject matter. Amazing. How come a film critic has a better understanding of the constitution than our president, our attorney general, and all of our senators? Exactamundo. Heeeeeeeey, I think we have a fantastic movie storyline here........Mr. Ebert Goes To Washington.....? |
