Default "Lucifer's Handbook"

I hope this is the right place to post this question.

Is anyone else familiar with Lucifer's Handbook by Lee Carter (Academic Associates, 1977)? Despite the devilish title, it's actually a useful little book that takes a secular humanist look at the arguments for and against the existence of God. The author is described on the back cover simply as a "college professor," but I have never seen his name attached to any other humanist work - which leads me to suspect that "Lee Carter" may be a pseudonym.

Does anyone have any inside information on this book and its author?

Ray Comfort is a New Zealand-born evangelist who lives in the USA. He's recently joined forces with Kirk ("Growing Pains") Cameron. Their web site is http://www.livingwaters.com/

Lee Carter was a pseudonym used by Milt Timmons, who is well known in the Los Angeles freethought community. He taught Communications (Film, Speech, Radio-TV, etc) at LA Valley College until 1992.

Now that he has retired, he is writing under his own name. He has just self-published "Everything About the Bible That You Never Had Time to Look Up", which he describes as a Cliff Notes guide to the Bible, which you can buy through XLibris.

He has a list of Dramatic Productions of Interest to Atheists and Freethinkers, but is otherwise not much on line.
