You know, some isometrics can be done even while sitting at the computer...it could help build muscle tone, well, just a tip for all you non-excercisers.

A bunch of people on IIDB are seriously pissed at me. I am going to an anti aging/diet dr and am on a very low cal diet and taking hormone supplementation.
They are just convinced I'm gonna die. My metabolism has always been horrendously low. They don't get it that I've done the exercise/diet thing, and nothing worked before now. My thyroid is dead and I take pills for it, but no endocrinologist ever got off his lazy ass and tested all of them. Stuff like GH, DHEA, pregnenolol, cortisol, melatonin, etc. I'm on testosterone gel (I'm a 48 yr old female who is non-menopausal) and I think it's the fountain of youth! I actually do housework instead of sitting around being depressed and taking Effexor which doesn't work much anyway! I am a NEW PERSON! I feel much better than I did when Iwas eighteen. When I was eighteen I was exhausted all the time. This is the first dr I've been to that has made me feel any better at all. The testosterone is doing the work of burning the fat. And I'm taking some other hormones, vitamins and supps too. They're saying "oh you should spend it on a personal trainer". None of that has worked. |
