Sell Sword: A term for mercenaries back in the middle ages. They sold the services of their sword--hence the phrase, sellsword.

I'd suggest g33ks4hire, but I'd probably get lynched, gang-beaten, and have dookie thrown at me, all for good reason.

So, instead, I'll listen to the geek that dominates my personality, and second sell-codes. 'Cause I think it's cool.

Well thx, but no, I think

My first reaction was "sell code, is that like price sticker or bar-code?". Without context (which I doubt most ppl will have), it has an unlovely ring to it and connotes the wrong things.

Thx anyway

Should it have to have code in the name? How's this: CodeCrunchers? CodesStation? EasyCodes? CodesBuilder? CodeRunner? Code4U? AnyCode? CapeCode? CodeWares? CodeWarehouse?

JungleWare.

Seeing as how you list South Africa as your location, and everyone outside of Africa associaties every place in Africa with jungles.

Alternately, on the same theme:

DiamondSoft

or

SouthSoft

or

IdeasAfrica

or

ZuluSolutions

Thx ohwilleke, but that kind of thing is considered really cheesy at this end of the world, and gives me the willies even though an international audience might not be so discriminate.

Of South Africa's roughly 65% urbanised populace, very few have seen a lion, or even a jungle for that matter. Our country is 50% semi-desert and 3% subtropical rainforest, the rest is mostly savannah (locally known as velt) with a smattering of mediterranean biomes along the coast.

And Zulus, while the most Internationally known of the many different indigenious people, are also among the most fractious and nationalistic (some want an independent state) - I should add that I have known some brilliant Zulu's.

That said, you did get me thinking. A locally relevant name that's sensitive to the national Zeitgeist might be interesting

Good luck finding something less cheesy. But, don't forget that truth and advertising are worlds apart, as people have known since at least the time "Greenland" was given its name.

If you would please hold on... I have to go find my Gr. 11 yearbook and post the motto for the computer club.
They had some great ideas, like Rajahs of RAM, etc. (too bad it's not a site about hardware)
But it may take me a few days to find it.

In the meanwhile, I suggest just "1337." Everyone who is anyone in computers will get that.
Or 1337-Geek.
