Had the right situation come along earlier I would have taken it. I waited until 20 because that's when I found someone I wanted. Had I met her 2 years 11 months earlier (age of consent) I think we would still have ended up in bed. |

I am 35 and am still waiting for the day I get married. If that never happens, I willl wait until I die. Sex, to me, is not the reason for existence. It is an added benefit for those who choose to be married.

Sex is an important part of a relationship. I can't imagine marrying someone not knowing whether we are compatible in that manner beforehand. No, its not everthing or really all that important in the grand scheme of things, but differing sexual "personalities" are likely to kill any intimacy in the relationship at early on. Intimacy is the key far as I'm concerned and sex plays a role.

you dont need to be married to be able to have an intimate emotional bond, so why discourage the culmination of that emotional bond?
