Same thread in another forum - but it cites a different version of the story that sounds more like a hoax:

I thought a lot of this kind of claim arose out of the Clementine response to Secret Mark. The whole thing with the Carpocratians and the naked man...Morton Smith, y'know? I'm fairly sure Smith never made any such claims, but all the wrong folks made all the wrong conclusions, and Morton got stuck holding the bag. It didn't do his career any good, but by that time, it was nearly over anyway.

This is not new. The mix of astrology and "scholasticism" is both sad and amusing at the same time. It is not new, either. For crying out loud, Newton was into spiritualism.

On the subject of this thread, I've seen the theory that Mary Magdalene was not really Jesus Christ's girlfriend, as many have speculated, but his "beard", a woman hired to make a homosexual man seem heterosexual.

(on Jesus Christ being homosexual...)

Radorth:
Doubtless the readers and writers of such unsupported nonsense still gather on Mars Hill since they have nothing better to do than "hear and tell something new."

Actually, this is Epicurus's garden. So please don't eat the daisies.

Edited to remove discussion of xianity and homosexuality split to other thread

Well something glitched in the process again, and I seem to have lost to OP and a bunch of follow-up posts. Sigh. My profuse apologies to all posters. I am moving what's left up to BC&A to be merged with the dicussion on the same topic there.

Thank you,
liv

First. I have given birth data from a gay between birth data from heterosexuals to astrologers, and no one was right in his vote. As it is not known, that it is possible to distinguish man from woman by astrology, there is AFAIK no indicator in a birth chart to identify a gay.

Second. The time of birth of a HJ is not known. Also, if it would be possible to detect a gay from a chart, this can be taken as nonsense, because there is absolute no correct time available. Further it should be clear, that all that stuff regarding his death is taken from prior known myths. For example there was a time span of three days in the underworld in the myths of Sumer dramatizing the descent of celestial bodies (near the sun) under the horizon until they arise back tree days to above the horizon. The Lazarus theme is also from a myth from Egypt. This part of Jesus can be put to the myths.

Third. There are sayings in the GOT without all that mythical stuff from the canonical G. However this was related to a person 'Jesus', it proves from the document that this Jesus was a disciple of Salome's (Hebrew: 'peace') profession: Salome said, "Who are you mister? You have climbed onto my couch and eaten from my table as if you are from someone." ... Jesus: "I am your disciple."

Wish I had a bible to hand.
I will see how to get hold of one, for there are a few verses in in Matthew to Acts which give clear reference to homosexual relationships amongst the carpenter and his counterparts commonly known as apostles.

Many thanks for that.
I've got this strage ability though, where my brain works a lot better in connection with my hands. Also was there a time when I literally knew the bible by heart, so the real thing would make it a lot easier (you know this ".. it's somewhere on the top right corner, at the beginning of a new chapter...")
