I didn't see any coverage in the LA Times or the Weekly.

There were news stories on Sunday (Nov. 3) in both the Washington Times (the Moonie paper) and the Washington Post (had a half-page, with two photos, and a better article). The Post is part of a large news syndicate, which includes the Lost Angeles Times, so I'm surprised that the story didn't make it out. However, I suppose that the reason for that might be that the Post ran said story in its "Metro" section of DC area news, and perhaps those stories don't make it out on their newswire.
