Well since it isn't, I voted for Return of the King.

I really wanna see the Matrix sequels. I don't even know which one is coming out first, so I voted for the first one in the list.

I waited until DVD for the original, and I'm not a fan of going to the theater, but I might actually make an effort to see these on the big screen.

I put down Bruce Almighty where Jim Carrey is God for a week but I'm looking forward to his other 2003 film When Harry Met Lloyd: Dumb and Dumberer more. I was pretty disappointed by the preview for Bruce Almighty - I was expecting big special effects where he rules the world, etc.
The LOTR finale and the Matrix movies would be more amazing to watch though but I like Jim Carrey's movies more.

ME too! (Except for RotK, 'cause I haven't see the first 2 yet... yeah, yeah, I know)

You forgot to out a spot for "none of the above." I am looking forward to ROTK, but I can definitely wait a year. (Word is, there's a small possibility it could be delayed until spring of 2004.)

X-Men 2 might be pretty good, but again, I can wait.

I can't believe they cast Affleck as Daredevil.

I hope Terminator 3 finally kills Arnie's career. I'm sick of looking at him.

And as much as I enjoyed The Matrix, I'm dubious about its follow-ups. Aren't the vast majority of sequels garbage?

As for the others - c'mon!

Um...not to rain on your parade, but Carrey and Daniels aren't in this one. It's a prequel with teenagers. I love Dumb and Dumber - it delivers what the title promises! - but I'm not the least interested in this one.

Lots to agree with in this thread!

I don't really know how LOTR ends, either, so I'm big-time looking forward to ROTK.

The Matrix is one of the most overrated movies of the past 10 years. I'll probably see the sequel but I'm not anticipating it.

Looking forward to HP:POA in 2004 (wish it was this year).

But most looking forward to the DVD release of the Indiana Jones Trilogy.

True. Which made me cautious. So I've been following the production of it, and it doesn't seem to be the case here.

Anyway, sci-fi sequels tend to break the mold of 'sequels are worse than the original' more often than other genres. That's my impression, anyway.

But I just assumed... well I think it would be a pretty good comedy still, like "the Hot Chick" was.

Question

I hope Terminator 3 finally kills Arnie's career. I'm sick of looking at him.

Then don't watch any of his movies.
