David Barton is an admitted liar. So much for his not bearing false witness. So much for the types that believe anything he claims. Unfortunately, these sheep will never learn no matter how many times they are sheared by Barton's ilk. That is what I find frightening and frustrating. |

The nonsense will end when we Christians get the idea that it is counterproductive to co-opt the Almighty to achieve our political ends. |

Do you know where I can find some of these stats? I have been trying to make a point to someone that the US hasn't been going to hell since the removal of prayer and would really appreciate the help. Thanks |

Come on Texas.... take advantage of this.
You may be the state that gave us the Shrub.... but you're also the state that gave us Ann Richards. |

Another issue with the Texas "Republican" party is that a bylaw was almost passed at the convention, requiring Republican candidates to sign their allegiance to the party platform in toto, or they wouldn't get funding. Why is this such a big deal? Less than 20% of candidates are doing it now, revealing that the delegates to the party convention really don't reflect Texas Republican at all. The delegates know this, and being that they are the True Republicans (TM) they are trying to force conformity to their narrow views. That's about the only way they're every going to accomplish their goals.
The moderates better wake up, or the Religious Right is going to destroy the Texas Republican Party. ~~RvFvS~~ |
