The batting sees to be a bit slow. Is the pitch a factor or is the Bangladesh attack putting up some fight?

Looks like Waugh may get to bat. Good on the Bangladeshi's for having some fight.

I'm guessing the pitch is a significant factor. It's starting to look as if we're in for a contest. Good.

A Pumpkin Drifter: Dunno if you're into baseball at all, but this site explains the basics of cricket using baseball terminology. http://members.tripod.com/~sccwa/crick.html

And here's a link to the complete rules of cricket. http://www.lords.org/cricket/laws.asp

That should get you started.

A combination of the two, I'd say. The outfield is also pretty slow so there aren't a lot of boundaries being scored. It's too bad that the Bangladeshi batting fell away at the end. A total of 150-170 by Bangladesh might have put some interest into the game.

The catch that got rid of Ponting was actually pretty good.

However, Langer is starting to get settled and Lehmann hasn't wasted too much time in scoring, so Australia is still set for a big score.

Waugh got his hundred, but he declared. he'll have to get 150 next match.

Will Martin Love ever live it down that he got a duck against Bangladesh? I suspect not.

Wink Nope!

If he'd been run out, then probably. But to be bowled, for a golden duck no less, nah, he'll never live that down!
