I don't get many of these callers, because I do have a "No Religious Solicitors Invited" sign on my front door. I do get the occasional illiterate callers.
I ask them if they've even READ the pamphlet they're trying to jab at me. After they assure me they have read the pamphlet, I point to my quite visible GO AWAY sign and tell to read that--then I close my door. Usually there's a pamphlet out there for me to pick up and toss out. |

I've been toying with the idea of a "you don't have to do this" meme. Assuming that many theists are at some level conflicted about their beliefs, just look at them and let them know there is a a good alternative. Most of them might not know it.
