"earlier a blue Ford Galaxy went past being driven by a woman with long blonde hair?"

I hope its a bit clearer for you now.

"earlier a blue Ford Galaxy went past being driven by a woman with long blonde hair?"

Does she tie it to the steering wheel? Sounds awkward.

For the record, I think the fact that weiners come ten to a pack while their accompanying hot dogs come eight to a pack is evidence for evolution. No intelligent designer would have made such an obvious gaffe.

aaaargghghgh!!!

remind me to get a refund on that lobotomy.

"earlier a blue Ford Galaxy went past being driven by a woman who had long blonde hair."

again, thanks, perhaps i was rushing a little with the former phrase because I was surprised that someone would bother to post merely to point out someone's grammatical problem rather than contribute anything substantive.

I daresay if I went around this board pointing out grammatical problems I'd sensibly be accused of meaningless pedantry.

Probably.

But it might just be a coincidence if you were.

Oh come on. We weren't laughing at you. We were laughing with you. It's a mere technicality, as far as we're concerned, that you aren't laughing.

I daresay if I went around this board pointing out grammatical problems I'd sensibly be accused of meaningless pedantry.

Probably, unless you did it in the name of humor. As it is, though, I merely accuse you of being unnecessarily sensitive and defensive.

Furthermore, I find irony in your insubstantive and hopelessly pedantic post in which you complain about our lack of substance and pedantry.

Edited to add: I continue to believe that there are coincidences that really do point to the gods. An example of this would be the death of Thomas Jefferson and John Adams on the fiftieth anniversary of Independence Day. Clearly they were being summoned by the patron deity of the United States for their reward in the afterlife. But this form of argument is both easily abused and never accepted by naturalistic atheists, as this thread shows. That's why I felt free to participate in it.
One of the most fascinating things about religion is it's rationality. It sometimes catches reason's truth, but it always catches it's rhyme.

Boro,

Hilarious post. Truly when no pun is intended, someone must have intended it!

[Edited to add two semantical errors and one grammatical error.]

Ah, but here you're wrong Diana. It is proof of design! Bloody ingenious design too. Think about it, you've got to buy TWO sodding packets of bread, just to use up all the sausages now. Then what do you have? Extra stupid bread, that's not shaped right for a proper sarnie or good for anything else but, you guessed, MORE sodding sausages!

Oh there is a designer alright, it's just that he or she is a heartless evil one.

That's the catch with the real world too, either the designer is daft, or he or she is smart as tacks and just as mean as one too.

Well, now tha' that's done with, I'm still wondering if a Blue Ford Galaxy is anything like a Red Horsehead Nebula… aside from what might or might not be driving it.

touche Diana

Problem is, sometimes I come to the message board a little stressed out, and so it manifests, other times I'm quite the happy Buddha. I guess the lack of smilies in the post pointing out my grammatical problem made me wonder whether the poster was being genuine or light hearted, so I apologise for the anal nature of my response.

Nice to see some merciless ribbing ensue

If it appears that someone is seriously nit-picking your posts you can feel sorry for them that they find that to have great Value and Meaning. You can be thankful that you know there's more to life than that. Right?
