Default Foggy Morning

My wife had to go to work, and it is a foggy cold morning and I don't feel like doing anything important.
I have a birthday party in the afternoon with children that like me to chase them (First thing they ask, "When are you going to chase us, you promised!")

I finished painting our living room that nice Nantuket Red this week and it looks nice.

Here is a view from our front door.

Ooh, I love it. Fog is cool.

The best was when it was foggy back in Japan, and the wisps of fog would just be rolling off the mountains...

Well, this is the living room, okay picture but overexposed a bit.

100 points to whoever can guess what scene from what movie is playing on the TV. I know it is hard to see, but make a good guess.

Jeez, that first picture reminds me I need to go to the woods. I love being in the woods (well, the sort-of-woods-that-are-sorta-close-to-people) on a rainy and foggy day (as long as I have my map and compass). Unfortunately we've been having really mild weather up here (Vancouver). If it doesn't rain a bit more next week I'll be pissed. Hmm, maybe I ought to ride the bus out to Lynn Canyon next time there's been enough rain for the river to flood over its banks, easy, quick, and no chance of getting lost...bah, all I see when I look out from my front door is a house *identical* to mine, like looking in a mirror (my street is symmetrical). I envy you. Also, I want a laptop too. And a gigantic comfy couch.

Scott,

damn, your living room looks so comfy, I'd steal it if it wasn't attached to your house

Are you planning on painting the chimney/fireplace as well?

Would the film in question be "The Fellowship of the Ring"?
Nice color on those walls.

Beautiful view Scotty. As soon as I can get hold of a camera, I'm going to take some pictures of the views from my apt and post them. I'm surrounded by mountains.
