Default Acrobatics

I've been practicing rolling a lot as part of my martial arts training, and it's got me wondering what other manouevres would be within my capability.

So - can anyone here front-flip? If so, how does one go about doing this? The idea both appeals to and frightens me [usually at point of execution]. Would i need to be very fit? Would I need to be running? Is there a special way my hands should hit the ground? What do I need to know?

I can't find any info about this on the net in general - most of my searches re. such acrobatic manoeuvres point me to pages with sappy, "inspirational" metaphors involving cartwheels or handstands.

So..... can anyone gimme some advice?

I can front-flip, back-flip, front somersault, and back somersault. Go to a gymnastics class. That's where I learned it. You shouldn't really attempt these things alone. The only problem is that I don't know if there are any gymnastics or acrobatics classes for adults in your area. You should check in the phonebook and ask around. Some dance schools also teach acrobatics.
