Defining 'God' may be an EoG thing, but the bong-hit tripe of this thread belongs in Philosophy (I sadly admit).

This is strarting to lose any relevance to god's existence. Maybe this is a GRD, maybe it's an Elsewhere, maybe it was better suited to Philosophy.

Let's see where the next few posts go, but I'm not confident it will remain here.

What if a circle had a triangle as its role model? Isn't that how we become wannabees? I mean, if we were all our own god, that would be too perfect, wouldn;t it?

Cheers, John

"Man was made in the image of God"

"I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes" (Psalm 82:6-7).

Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?". John 32-36

What should we make of this then?

Imperfect folklore.

No, the folklore is perfect, our interpretation is imperfect, you just said that the world is perfect but we are not!

The folklore is within you, it is imperfect.

Where does the idea of God lie?

Inside = Imperfect

Outside = Perfect

How could man understand the idea of God if it was not already inside?

I want to be all powerful, I need all knowledge. Let me imagine a being that has these properties. Yes, I understand the idea of god in term of my own needs and wants.
