Given that our lowest coinage bears the echidna, I�ll throw in my 5 cents & make a quick plug for Australian notes, not only in purdy colours but also on washing machine proof plastic. I think Thailand used the same technology for some of its 20 baht notes as well.

I recall somewhere an estimate that due to the bland ol� greenback�s simplicity, anywhere up to 10% of the worldwide notes in circulation are forgeries, but that�s fairly anecdotal.
