Thats because not only doesn't the bible say we can't use bondage (and other implements or refinements), maybe they participate too, can you imagine some of the fundies and staff members involved with such a thing. hehe

I dunno. I generally assume that people who react with shock and confusion and aren't clear on things have no practical experience.

There was a story a guy I knew told about how he was some sort of carpenter-type worker, and he and some people were building a set, and they ended up with a bunch of short lengths of rope, too short to be much use, and someone said "hey, maybe someone could use them for bondage", and he said "no, they're not long enough", and everyone STARED at him.

I know that people who see the handcuffs on the bed tend to stare. (I have a futon which folds into a couch, and a TV by it, so people I'm not sleeping with *can* reasonably come and see my bed.)

Actually, come to think of it, no one's stared in a while; all my friends know me to well to stare.

Hi CF staff Enjoying the reading here, pretty cool huh? I can see you all now, gasping and ooohing and ahhhing, hehe.
Ok, well I admit I'm about to be arrogant and self-centred, but I haven't actually been banned. Although I wouldn't be surprised if comments here provoked it... something as simple as something one of my friends said, namely that Jesus was the guy who got nailed on a cross...

In 1985 I lived in Lodi, near Stockton. And in '99 I lived in Martinez, close to Concord, pretty close to San Francisco.

Whats wrong with that?, it's the truth, other than he wasn't just any old guy.

Hmm. Not sure if you got that or not. In case of no, please note difference between "on" and "to".

... OK ... Badfish?

... In 1979 I moved from being kind of left in the wrong place from Mississippi into Sacramento. In Sacramento at the time, I was staying at my Mother's place. I had to find me a job. I went to these Temporary Work Services, like ManPower Temps. It started out they needed something like about 10 guys for this New Warehouse in Woodland that needed to have the place set up with storage shelves and the products put in on the shelves. After this occured for a month, there was this new job that was offered at a Glass Windows and Door Warehouse off of Power Inn Rd. Here in Sacramento. There was this like 18 year old guy that was like a Jesus Freak, and he would get into everyone's personal interest and see how he could manipulate everyone's personal interest to accepting Jesus and what the Bible has to tell us. I also remember, like about Lunch time, his beverage was either Beer or Mineral Water. I got interested in having some Mineral Water myself. But this was the time I was becoming Agnostic, and wasn't finding the message that exciting for me at the time. I told the guy, I was like him at one time, but I'm doubting it all. I had to say some things where a coincidence. He say: "He didn't believe in coincidences, that all things worked for good that loved the lord." Kind of thing. Yet, from recalling this guy, and what I've notice of Badfish in the last 10 months and reading his Post. There looks to me a lot of simularity. I just had to know if this guy and Badfish happened to have had been the same guy?
