Talking Walkers Marmite crisps

Even though I loathe spreadable marmite - gag, spit - I can't get enough of the marmite crisps they are gorgeous.

Hail Marmite crisps and Walkers for making 'em.

You may have to explain yourself--most americans are unfamiliar with marmite/vegemite.

First, the two must be separated. While both may be yeast spreads, they are clearly different. Marmite is this gooey sticky stuff that tastes like nothing, more or less. Vegemite is the epitome of all goodness -- salty yeast at its finest, especially on toast with a touch of butter. (I freely admit that the above could be somewhat biased. )

There are actually places in the United States where you can get both marmite and vegemite, although they aren't cheap -- a small jar (perhaps 4 oz.) of vegemite runs me $3, and marmite, $5.

Does anyone know if we can we get Walker's Marmite Crisps in the US?

Both marmite and vegemite are manufactured as by-products of hell-spawn excrement. They are freely available in this world to sway True Christians (TM) from the path of goodness and righteousness!

I think Twiglets have a sort of hot-marmite taste. Unfortunately, I can't eat them any more because they irritate the hell out of my dry throat and I cough uncontrollably.

From Merriam-Webster Online:
Quote:
Main Entry: Marmite

Pronunciation: 'mr-mIt
Function: trademark
1 : Fermented yeast spread available in the United Kingdom
2 : Vile black pus from Satan's own suppurating arsehole
(no, not really)

I wouldn't touch the crisps, any more than I would pick up a packet of "Walker's Ebola-Abortion Flavour" if they released it.

Well, that explains why I started along the path of Christian doubt at the same time that I discovered vegemite!
