Well you don't have to live in Seattle itself, which reduces the cost of living. Kitsap's nice. And for those who want the snow without the cold, well you can always drive to the mountains for the snow and drive back into the relative warm of the basin. It's also a great place for gardeners.
And if Boeing leaves, then there'll be a lot less traffic and more reasonable housing prices. |

Actually Seattle area is a great place. i'd opt for the whole island of Vashon where i lived for a year (and two years on Lake Washington at Yarrow Point/Bellevue)... from Apple trees and strawberries to horses and quaint living. Taking the Ferry to Seattle is a memorable affair. Lots a good things to be said for Seattle (area) . |
