For those who are wondering about both SC's late
arrival on this thread and his personal venom toward me, I can explain: merely look at this:

It is not at all surprising that leonarde finds that the truth 'annoys' him. Amusing that he is trying to find sympathy for his cause here at Infidels by doing exactly what Douglas did: appeal to the shutdown of ARN. *laugh*

For the record, I can still post at ARN, under the name of Principia (and quite a few others). So much for leonarde's proud achievement of banning me. I find it completely worthless to deal with the subjects there and so I have not bothered to post often since ARN's shutdown.

Now, shall we continue with the demonstration of how little leonarde knows about medical physiology? leonarde can only avoid that discussion for so long.

My 'zilch' might actually be more than what leonarde has contributed thus far, which is an explicit argument that mere acceptance of any proclaimed authority should replace any critical analysis. In other words, he appeals to a suspension of disbelief. We can see evidence of this kind of thinking below:

In other words, the truth of a statement is strictly dependent on agreement with leonarde's authorities. If science actually works in the manner leonarde depicts it, then I suppose the Pope would have ultimate authority on it, since after all, God has all the answers.

If leonarde says this is the Shroud of Turin thread... Sounds more like the leonarde-quote-athon thread to me. Maybe leonarde should take his own advice and confine himself to posting at ARN, where people there apparently would better appreciate his style of argumentation.
