Well, I'm voting for the US being at the lowest point in it's history in regards to international confidence that it can/will do the "right" thing.

All countries think of themselves; but not all countries embark on subjugating others.
It is interesting that the US--which became a nation to throw off the mercantilist policies of Great Britain and stop being a colony--now is embarked on a mercantilist policy around the globe, an effort to make other countries colonies. Even more ironic is that Great Britain is one of them. |

I saw on Newsworld International this morning that nearly half of the Pakistani population in NYC has left, about 50,000 people. Of which 20,000 were detained and/or questioned.
Way to go Ashcroft. |
