Actually, I think that CF is more than a little frustrating myself. I've saved myself a lot of head-banging insanity since I logged off from there and just lurk now and then. And I'm a Christian.

Amie, seebs and AnnabelLee are the people I'd most like to talk with or to--and I can do that here on infidels if I like. Right now, I can't deal with people who hate liberals (politically and theologically).

Anyway, fwiw, I think that Infinitylover's advice is very good and something that I need to work on applying to myself more often.

For pete's sake, what are you arguing with the Xians for? I don't understand why people torture themselves like this for, Xians in Internet Infidels, atheists in Jocks for Jesus chatrooms, Hindus in Islam for Idiots websites, etc.
Here is what each and everyone ends up accomplishing: <img src="graemlins/banghead.gif" border="0" alt="[Bang Head]" /> <img src="graemlins/banghead.gif" border="0" alt="[Bang Head]" /> <img src="graemlins/banghead.gif" border="0" alt="[Bang Head]" /> Ya masochists!

heathenkitten:

I enjoy myself quite a lot here on infidels--and I can truthfully say that interacting here is not torture for me. Maybe it helps that I'm not trying to accomplish anything more than having good conversation. And good conversation is not arguing--debating, maybe, but never arguing.

Cool

Fwiw, I am convinced that me posting on Christian Forums would be a far greater act of masochism than me posting here.

I agree with Helen's assessment. I would like to add that atheists and nonchristians get treated fairly well by the majority of Christians over there (not by all, but by most). But Christians with different views about christianity are shown no mercy. It's definitely harder to be a liberal christian at CF than it is to be an "infidel".

Perhaps that is because they can't stand it when those of their own kind tell them they're wrong about something.

That's a nice piece of writing Tony S, although it could be condensed a little.
