Default What happened to my post count?

Okay . . . as of saturday, I believe, I had over 500 posts. Now all of a sudden I have 470. I had a number of posts in the now-closed "If you have set yourself on fire" thread, but not 32 of them, I don't think . . . and anyway, pruning the thread shouldnt delete my posts . . . should it?

I was happy when I finally hit 500. Don't tell me I have to do it again.

Rob,

We had multiple copies of that thread floating around that would have briefly inflated your post count. We did prune down the copy which removed those posts from your post count.

Your posts are still counted in the original, which has been moved out of sight for the moment.

Okay, I get this, but I really was happy to have finally made the "veteran user" level, and now to be kicked back down for reasons of bandwidth -- I mean, it's not like the deleted posts, temporarily off the shelf or not, were offensive or otherwise inappropriate. I did spend time working on them, after all, and I guess I think I should get the credit for them.

No, it's not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but it IS a bit annoying.
