Post LOL - Sean Hannity is such a moron.

Did anybody catch Hannity & Colmes on Fox News tonight (6-25)?

That atheist guy (Newdow?) pretty much annihilated Hannity's silly arguments, and he was reduced to a bumbling idiot before Colmes took us to commercial.

Hannity: "Uh...I can't wait.....uh .....for ... uh.... tomorrow morning when ..... uh .... Saudi Arabia ..... uuuhhhh ..... extremists .... uh ..... Saudi ...."

Colmes: "Thank you, we'll be right back after these messages."

LOL

Ha-ha! Excellent analysis, Brian. I was thinking exactly the same thing. Maybe SEAN should go live in Saudi Arabia so he can enjoy the imposition of religion on the people by the state...

Thumbs down

I've hated Hannity for years. About ten years ago, he was doing a local Rush Limbaugh wannabe show in Atlanta. He even tried to look like Limbaugh with his girth. Anyway, I was living there at the time and the then Prez of Atlanta Freethought Society and Humanists of Georgia, Tom Malone was a guest on his show. Hannity was a total dick to him the whole time. Malone had a different opinion on many issues than Hannity and his listeners, but Hannity would not allow any dialogue or debate, just a lot of bashing. Several years later, when I saw him on TV it was obvious that his style hasn't changed.

THOUGHTfully Yours,
Clark Adams

I'm just starting to read it, but I wanted to post the transcript right away.

---------

A highlight:
Quote:
HANNITY: Yeah, but it says Congress shall make no law...

NEWDOW: They have no God in the Constitution.

HANNITY: ... respecting the establishment of religion nor the free exercise...

NEWDOW: They have no God in the Constitution.

HANNITY: Here's my big question. You know something? You guys on the left constantly lecturing conservatives about...

NEWDOW: I'm not on the left, but go ahead.

HANNITY: Well, I don't think you're on right either. About tolerance. We hear it all the time.

NEWDOW: I don't believe in Jesus being part of the government, if that's what you...
I wouldn't have believed anyone could take Hannity down a peg, especially on his own turf, but this guy did it. Scored points with every utterance. (Though his "When atheists take over..." sounded a little creepy; I know what he was saying, but it sounded odd.)

Thanks for the transcript Grumpy.

Looks like I wasn't far off from the actual ending, here it is:

HANNITY: I can't wait for Saudi Arabians to wake up, you know, tomorrow morning and you know, and those extremists...

NEWDOW: Those are extremists, but those who want to shove God down our throat, you're fine.

HANNITY: ... those extremists that want to divide the country...

COLMES: Michael, we thank you for being on the show. I think you've shown a lot of courage doing what you've done and coming on here and talking about it.

Reading over that transcript, I don't think Newdow came off with as clear a victory as others of you apparently do, but Newdow was on Hannity's radio show yesterday and really did a much better job giving Hannity an "education."

Then some jerk came on as a constitutional scholar on the opposite POV and was astonishingly rude to Newdow, and Hannity even had to make a *little* effort to restrain him.

Entertaining stuff.

Brian:

I think you'd have to have seen the actual show. IMHO Newdow came out of that with as clear a victory as seemingly possible with that jackass Hannity on his own turf.

Default I agree

six months ago wls am radio runs sean hannitys radio show and this guy is a moron.

You know that I can tolerate rush limbaugh (I agree with many of his points at times)because he does not argue with his callers.

But sean hannity irritates me for arguing with his callers especially if he has a weaker arguement.
