Do you care to offer any justification for this claim? Or do you just expect everyone to just take your word for it?

I'm not prepared to explain to you why the earthy is a sphere, or that ice is a solid, water is a liquid, and steam is a gas, etc.

YOU tell ME why eating meat per se is unhealthy.

Men are just monkeys. Monkeys just eat bananas. Bananas are not meat, ergo, it is unnatural for men to eat meat. Anything unnatural is unhealthy, ergo, eating meat is unhealthy.

(No, I don't think anyone here thinks anything remotely that dumb regarding this topic)

But what if he only ate people who had become "vegetables" - would he still be a "vegetarian"...sort of...??

And like what if he only ate "couch potatos"...???

You're right. But IF someone tried this argument on me, my reply would be:
Humans are most closely related to Chimps, not monkeys.
Chimps love to hunt, kill and eat monkey.
Monkey is their favorite food. This is 'natural'.
Ergo, humans should eat meat.
(And being much more intelligent than Chimps, obviously the range of what type of meat we can procure and eat will be much greater.)

If Mr. Packer just ate homosexuals, then he'd still be a vegatarian.

Yep, we're the good ol' "Third Chimpanzee"!

And chimps also eat other chimps (sometimes) - so we should eat other people!

I'll get the fava beans and Chanti!

If we ever run out of non-human animals to eat, I'll certainly consider human flesh. I keep hearing that it tastes like pork - some cannibals even call it 'long pork'.

Hmmmmm. The cremation, or pickling and burying, of millions of human corpses annually does seem rather wasteful. Think how many cows, pigs, chickens, etc. could be spared yearly if 'person pitas' were on the menu. (I'll alert PETA. I bet they'll go for this in a BIG way.)

But back to Hitler. Maybe we should make it legal to kill and eat Nazis. Who knows - maybe their FLESH is 'superior'.
