I was watching television the other day and lo and behold I saw Savage Nation listed for MSNBC! I was amused to see he had a show, however I'm not surprised...The conservative cause has a valiant leader. Although he's a bit eccentric, I somehow tolerate listening to him.

His show has been on for a couple of months now. I tried to watch once but only lasted about 10 minutes. Savage is easily the most ignorant man in broadcasting. His insane rants and obvious self esteem issues are more than I can stand.

Calling Elizabeth Smart a whore and the reporter from MSNBC a mind slut are over the top stunts designed to get attention. MSNBC really scrapped the bottom of the barrel hiring that schmuck!

It seems that extremism in one form or another is more popular than educated reasoning in the media. Let's face it, loud and obnoxious idiots spewing inflammatory rhetoric is far more entertaining to the average television audience then civil and logical discussion. Nobody wants to watch two civilized people debate like educated humans, they'd rather watch uneducated humans brutalize each other in a civilized fashion. I.E.: boxing matches make millions in one night of savagery, but programs like NOVA subsist on public funding unless they can bankroll on some fashionable gimick.
