Come on DD, if he was going to die in five minutes he hardly had time to do any of those things, but theres always time for a deathbed conversion, its like drive thru fast food compared to a sumptuous four course meal.

Yes. As I recall, Lady Hope claimed to have visited Darwin in the fall. He died in April, and was active up until a few days before his death. So even if she did visit him in the fall, he most certainly was not on his deathbed.
