You know, Alfred Einstein, the illegitimate child of Godel's wife and Albert Einstein? He came up with the theory n=bE(3)
In other words, Nut=Boro times Energy cubed.
Or was that the other way round?

As Ocham's Razor is clearly flawed, I propose a subtle variation.

For instance, wouldn't it be safer to disbelieve in Buddha? That way we would avoid going to hell if we are wrong and at least come back and get another shot at it, albeit lower down the evolutionary scale, say, like a linebacker or president or something? Could you suggest a better God to disbelieve in, all factors considered?

As a clear advancement in philosophical argument I think this deserves a name of its own. I propose Ocham's Ronson. Can you suggest any others?

I can't believe a fellow Brit would even suggest such blasphemy!
Yahweh is the One True God (who just happens to be nonexistant), the only god a true atheist should ever disbelieve. These other gods are mere pretenders, false gods (who also don't exist). Disbelief in the "wrong" god will comdemn you to an eternity in... er, heaven. Do you really want to spend the next trillion plus years hanging out with religious fanatics like Jesus H. Christ and Mother Theresa?
You have been warned.

How do you know? They hadn't standardised spelling in William of Ockham's day.

Glad to be of amusement. Can I also introduce you to the God of Entropy. The God of Entropy is analagous to the personal heavan thing, the god is whoever or whatever you want it to be. "And Man made God in his own Image." Lottery 1:1

This means that everyone is automatically a member of the Church of the God of Entropy . You can even disbelieve in your own god if you want, really, its the atheist's way to heavan. I even wrote a few prayers but nobody answered them.

Unfortunately nobody's taken round the collection plate yet.

I just found the press release below, thought it might help show how shaves are getting closer!

Adelphi's Oracle
By Harry Stottle

The senate has just announced a logical move to reduce overcrowding in the Entropic Temples. Having reviewed the membership rules, Agnostics will not now be allowed to attend because they have no god that they clearly believe or disbelieve in. They will attend a new institution named "The Church of The Excluded Middle". Clearly, there will be no major deity of course but saints will be allowed including St. Heisenberg of Uncertainty, St. Zeno of the Missing Point and St. Zermolo of the Axiom of Choice.

The location of premises for the The Church of The Excluded Middle is unknown at this time but soldiers are looking for a suitable location in the Caucusus Mountains (lit. in Greek the ends of the earth). Agnostics will be allocated caves and each provided a Pascal Personal Plastic Safety Wager Razor. Those making cutting remarks or offering physical resistance will be removed for a Carribbean vacation.

The leader of the Agnostics, Mr. Percy Cuted, was contacted for his comments on the senate decision and could only respond with "Unbelievable".
