Those people who think that Jesus is going to rapture them away are incredibly selfish, I think. If they really believe that there's going to be a worldwide disaster, why aren't they thinking about how to help their fellow man through it? Instead, they expect Jesus to take them to heaven before the disaster starts, so they can avoid it. That's not the Christian ethic, I don't think.
