Exclamation Need HELP defending secular research!

Can someone please help?
On THIS THREAD my name is 2001MustangGT . I am posting about studies that atheism correlates to intelligence. See the first 4 pages to get the gist of it.

The guy named Metacrock is trying to debunk the studies I posted about. He touts his website HERE where he "tears this **** to pieces". He says all the studies are flawed and actually 17 studies show that religious people are more intelligent than secularists! He even claims on his website that 90% of professors are religious!

I think Im out of my league in replying to the stuff he is claiming. I dont know much about the studies I posted other than what you see on my actual post.... where does this guy get his info and supposed "authority" on claiming each study was flawed, 90% of professors are actually religious, etc...

Someone please give me some help here?

Yes I just realized there is a Metacrock on IIDB... I think its him.

Oh well.. I guess youre right. Ive seen some of his stuff here. I didnt know he was on Christianforums. I shoulda figured.

That sucks for me because if I even hope to continue debating him over there, win OR lose (probably lose LOL) I need to do research and reading up the ass regardless!

I dont wanna abandon my thread over there...

Well, I am all for keeping on for the lurkers' sake. All you can do with Metacrock is make him defend his website's assertions. He'll send you there endlessly, but really I don't remember his site being well referenced.

Thanx yes Im gonna reply anyway. I enjoy debating and getting my stuff challenged. I like winning, but Im not afraid of losing either

He linked his site twice and then shortly after posted pretty much the entire text of his entire site into the thread. Im reading it right now. Ill reply to it soon

There are serious problems with the methodology of the "studies" that he quotes. Like which "secularists" they studied. Was it mainly those who might reasonably be described as social dropouts? If they studied some of the bigger IIDB contributors, let's say, they'd conclude that "secularists" are much smarter than average.

Small-number statistics is rather risky, but if one was to compare (say) such well-known antagonists here as QueenofSwords and Magus55...

Though in fairness, some believers here would likely offer a more formidable challenge, like Nomad or Metacrock or Bede or perhaps even Ed or luvluv...

And I doubt that many of us infidels are as smart as QoS...
