Default What happened to Single Dad?

That's Infidels forum member "Single Dad". He was a great member. Anyone know what happened?

I don't know.

I miss Single Dad's intelligent posts.
He is an Engineer, and he brought analytical skills and knowledge.

I also miss penatis.
Very meticulous problem solving approach to beliefs, in an unbelievable spirit of profound research and thinking.
I printed one of his threads, for my reference.

SingleDad left for personal reasons. I wouldn't expect him back.

No further details, for confidentiality reasons.

I will state that he's missed, and would be welcomed back by me.

How did you find out about him? He hasn't been here for a long time - more than a year, I think - and you've only registered for a short while.

Looks like the Infidels Mafia caught me

Seriously, I have lurked here for awhile. Participating is rewarding, but it can be pretty time consuming. Instead of getting involved in the debates, it's been more practical for me to scan for those who I can get the most from with the smallest time investment. Single Dad was the prime example. Too bad he got ran off...

Totally and completely incorrect. Singledad did not get "run off." He left for personal reasons.

Wrong choice of words. Sorry. When I saw the part that said "I wouldn't expect him back" next to the part about him leaving for "personal reasons" I must have read too much into it. It wasn't meant to be insulting in any way to Single Dad.

What ever happened to Adversary? I used to love reading his stuff as well.

Single Dad is indeed missed

Hey, I just found out that this new "internet" thingy lets you actually look at websites without actually registering at them.

All kidding aside, I was a lurker for almost a year before registering myself.

Yeah SingleDad will be missed. When I returned to infidels after an extended period of sabbatical leave, I noticed that he was gone. Eventually through the grapevine I heard that he had left for personal reason, that's all we can say.
