Question ? ? ?

Reading this article raises an interesting question:

Since we are encouraged to confess our sins, what are we supposed to "confess" to?
What is a "sin"? Why isn't this ever spelled-out?

Do we "sin" because we choose one person for a spouse over another because we find them 'more attractive' or "appealing"?
Is this supposed to be somekind of "lust"?
Me? I find it "normal".
