followed up by Alan Parsons project! This is going downhill really fast...
Wait a minute...Alan Parsons Project is one of my favorites...downhill? My taste in music tends to be eclectic as well; I like some music from just about any genre. "Different" music I like a lot, maybe strange, maybe not: Willie Nelson Rick Wakeman (Six Wives of Henry VIII, Journey to the Center of the Earth, etc.) Mike Oldfield (Tubular Bells, Hergest Ridge, etc.) Isao Tomita Moody Blues (first 7 albums in particular) Leonard Cohen Enigma Enya Rufus Wainwright Old Chicago |

YAY!!! I'm not alone in my nearly all Chrono Trigger/Final Fantasy 3/6 music list!
Alan Parsons as "downhill" was mainly reffering to my age... Nearly all of my peers know of the Alan Parsons project only as "the evil plot in austin powers 2" ![]() |

I have a penchant for game music like the reggae/calypso tunes found in the Monkey Island series, as well as the atmospheric/tribal music of the Age of Empires series.
I also like the music from some commercials - the background tune of those American Express ads coming to mind. Also, weird techno-metal stuff from Japan like Polysci and Melt Banana is always interesting. |
