I'm not espousing any truth. All I seek is a path that will make me feel good.

Sure your feelings are shaping the truth for you, but it's a subjective truth, it has everything to do with psychology, philosophy, and religion, nothing to do with the objective universe. It doesn't care about your feelings or mine, or anybody else's, it just exists.</strong>
The objective universe is an indifferent one, a pitiless, merciless spawn of doom where every creature walks the plank towards nothingness. I once embraced this truth - so much so that I even set up a website expounding it and criticising any view to the contrary. But after more than half a year of dwelling on that harsh truth, I suffered a nervous breakdown. I closed the website and vowed never to let the truth terrorise me so. I now follow not the Voice of Truth but rather the Voice of Emotion. If I follow the Voice of Truth I'll end up in a mental institution. If I follow the voice of my emotions I shall live and enjoy life. I chose Wicca because it's a religion that makes me feel good.

Blessed be.

I see, at least you are honest about your position and for that I commend you. I do understand why you would rather seek a life of emotions instead a life of truth. But those two paths are not mutually exclusive, they can and do interweave and reinforce each other for an understanding of life free from supernatural and irrationality. Emotions do not necesarily equal a state of irrationality.

I just hope that someday that 'voice of emotion' doesn't tell you to kill someone. 'Listening to our feelings' as TRUTH can lead you to all sorts of nasty places too.
