Inspired by the summary of the bible. What to say at Judgement Day.
I am sorry for: Being born. Not being aborted. Breathing. Living. Thinking for myself. Giving constructive criticism to your mouthpieces. Not worshipping you when no evidence is present. For not having faith. Any other ideas? There must be hundreds!

The fact that You permitted me to be conceived and born as the imperfect creature that I am, without even the capability of being righteous.
The fact that You allowed all of us to be congenitally infected with original sin, when You could have killed Adam and Eve, as You had warned, and started afresh with new, improved Human Beings 2.0 (or just have gotten it right with Adam and Eve). The fact that I used the mind that You had given me to ponder the universe that is Your creation and the Bible that is Your word, and that I noticed that they don't line up. The fact that I couldn't find You when You had taken such great care to hide Yourself. |
